How to create your Shopping/Grocery List

Welcome to myhouseholdlist.com, this is a web site that allows users to create a quick and easy household shopping/grocery list for free. The web site is broken down into different shopping categories such as Groceries, Apparels, Office products, Housewares and Electronics, to name a few.

Once you’ve create your free account you will be able to:

Save your shopping list online

Create and print your shopping list from any computer with the internet

Create a list of your favorite stores

Add your reoccurring products to your favorite list or products that are not listed

Keep track of grocery inventory

Print your list or send it to a friend or to a smartphone

Sign Up!

Start by creating a free account by clicking on "Sign Up!" in my account on the right side menu.

Fill out all the information required
The fields marked with the red stars are mandatory
Then click the register button
Once your account has been created successfully, an email will be sent to your email account to welcome you to myhouseholdlist.com, you do not have to login again you can just start shopping.

Add your favorite Store names

Clicking on "add store names" in my account section on the right side menu.
You will see some store names that are already there, they are there to make things a little easier for the user.
In the name box enter the store name
If you are going to enter more than one name click on the "add empty item" button to add a new row.
Once you have all the names, click on the "Add new" button.
All your store names will be listed above.
Then close the page

Add your reocurring products to your Favorite list

Favorite list, most people will find this feature very helpful. Especially when doing grocery shopping.
Add reoccurring products to your favorite list or products that are not listed.
Once you find an item that you want to add to your favorite list click on the "add to myfavorite list" button.
A message will appear showing that it’s been added to your favorite list.
The quickest way to create your list is to add products that you buy frequently to your MyFavorite list.

Keep track of your Shopping/Grocery Inventory - Click on download

Clicking on "Grocery inventory" in Information section on the left side menu..

The best way to use the shopping/grocery inventory is to add products that are finished or running low.

Use your weekly flyers to find the best deals.

Check over your list to see if anything is missing from it. This will prevent you from going back to the store.

Add your items from your Grocery inventory to your shopping cart.

Adding items to shopping cart

Start by using Grocery inventory form, Flyers, Favorite list and then the main list to create your list.
Say for instance you want to add a breakfast bar to your shopping cart.
Click on the "Groceries"category, select "Breakfast" products.
Click on "Bar" in your favorite or main list.
Click on the "Add to cart" button
Say for instance you want to buy the breakfast "Bar" from WALMART, go to the "Select store name" pulldown box and select the store, but if the store name is not on the list, select "Add Store names" link.
In the quantity pull down box, select the quantity that you need.
If there isn't a pulldown box to select the type of item, you can leave it blank or write the name of the item in the text box.
After selecting your products, click on "Add to cart" button, then a message will appear showing that the item have been added to your shopping cart.

Express List

In a RUSH, don't have time? The Express List will help you create your shopping list quickly. Just enter in the product name and any other information needed. Click on the "Add to Cart" button. Repeat this procedure until you have completed your shopping list.

Printing your list or send to Friend/Mobile phone

Once all the shopping items have been added to the list, it can be printed. You can also send it to a friend or to a smartphone.

To print or to send your list, click on checkout under the cart section

Step 1 is only there to make changes to your profile.
Step 2 is there, if you want to add a general note to your shopping cart, or if not leave it blank.
To create your shopping list, click on "Create shopping list" button.
